The Springdale Summer Program

The application process for The Summer Program will begin March 1, 2026. The Summer Program is held at Helen Tyson Middle School. The program operates from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Your child must be entering kindergarten, and cannot be 14 on or after June 1, 2026. The program will begin May 26, 2026 and end July 31st, 2026.  The district asks that we allow them one week before school resumes in order to prepare the building for the upcoming school year. The cost of the program consists of a $125 registration fee per child. The weekly tuition fee is $195 per week for one child, $380 per week for two children in the same family, or $555 per week for three children, $680 per week for four children in the same family.

The Summer Program includes many fun activities and field trips which are included in your tuition cost. We try and have a field trip weekly such as skating, bowling, local parks, hiking, U of A farm, Amazeum, The Trampoline Park, and many more. In addition to field trips, we have persons from the local community visit our program including local dentist offices, fire department, canine police dogs, Strike from the Naturals, humane society, girl/boy scouts, local 4H club, railroad, etc. We feel that it is important to involve the community with our program to allow the children to see and learn about their different roles. There will be a few occasions that your child may bring spending money. This is always optional. While at the program, your child will enjoy ping pong, air hockey, foosball, art center, Legos, dramatic play, free time, gym, and outside play. We also offer different themed days such as sports day and rodeo day.
